Position Opening—Fiscal Coordinator
Rural Community Action Ministry (RCAM), a dynamic private nonprofit serving 14 rural towns in Central/Western Maine, is seeking an energetic and versatile full-time Fiscal Coordinator.
Qualifications: Associates Degree in Accounting or High School diploma with accounting/ bookkeeping courses and relevant bookkeeping work experience. Nonprofit accounting courses/experience preferred. Proficient in general computer operation. Experience with Microsoft Office 365, and Quick Books strongly desired. Ability to identify errors and solve problems. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and information. Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with other employees and the public. An understanding of and respect for diversity, equity, and inclusion. Good interpersonal skills, openness, and flexibility in working with diverse groups. Good verbal and written communication skills. Reliable transportation.
Job Responsibility: Manages all aspects of accounting and bookkeeping of Rural Community Action Ministry. Performs fiscal and administrative duties that require decision-making responsibility. Performs detailed accounting and bookkeeping functions. Works closely with the Executive Director and Board of Directors in the provision of fiscal and programmatic information. Exercises sound judgment and takes initiative.
Service Area: Office is based in Leeds, Maine; Androscoggin County.
Salary: Up to $20.00/hr. based on experience. Working Hours: 40 hours per week. Flexible hours with an opportunity to work remotely.

Rural Community Action Ministry (RCAM), a dynamic private nonprofit serving 14 rural towns in Central/Western Maine, has been a leader for over 50 years in helping people and changing lives. RCAM is seeking an energetic and versatile part-time Hunger Prevention Coordinator.
Qualifications: Must have High School diploma or equivalency. Considerable experience in gardening is preferred. An understanding of and respect for diversity, equity, and inclusion. Good interpersonal skills, openness, and flexibility in working with diverse groups. Extensive knowledge of gardening and hunger vulnerability, and ability to teach that knowledge to others preferred. Must have computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to work in a computer network environment. Good verbal and written communication skills.
Job Responsibility: Manages Hunger Prevention Services which include gardening and food insecurity prevention and collaboration oversight. Establishes, maintains, and coordinates the efforts of volunteers to carry out the short- and long- range plan for Hunger Prevention Services. Exhibits sound judgment in managing established program budget. Promotes Hunger Prevention Services to the community.
Service Area: Office is based in Leeds, Maine; Androscoggin County.
Salary: Up to $15.00/hr. based on experience. Working Hours: 15 hours per week. Flexible hours with an opportunity to work remotely.
